BLUEBERRY OREO CHIFFON CAKE

ASSALAMUALAIKUM


Lama sangat leia tak buat kek chiffon ni, sampai cari acuan tak jumpa. Tu nampak macam terlampau semak sangat kat muzium leia :P sampai cari barang pun tak jumpa. Ni semangat nak buat kek chiffon tercetus(ayat tu main ko :P) masa jalan-jalan kat dapur kak Nor terjumpa kek ni macam best ja (memang best pun) so dengan bersemangatnya leia pun terus mulakan langkah ke dapur. Cuma dipenghujung pembakaran kek ni macam dia turun skit kat tengah tengah dia. Masa tengah bako tu eksen kemain naik dia, punya la seronok leia masa tu kek menjadi juga lepas lama tak menyifon.....last last ujung ujung dia turun skit, tapi apa - apa pun masa tunggangkan kek tu dia tak jatuh maknanya still jadila ^_^. The moral of the story lepas ni kena ghajin menyifon :). Ok jom semak resepi.



BLUEBERRY OREO CHIFFON CAKE

Ingredients:
6 egg yolks
100g blueberry yogurts (kak nor guna plain yogurt)
150g flour (kak nor dan leia guna cake flour)
4g baking powder
100g caster sugar 
3g salt
100g vegetable oil (kak nor dan leia guna canola oil)

6 egg whites
1g cream of tartar ( kak nor gantikan dengan 1 sudu besar jus limau (bleh juga guna lemon -leia guna lemon)
100g caster sugar
50g of bluberry oreo - cut into tiny bits - kak nor guna 7 keping (1 keping - 10g)
enough blueberry paste or purple colour - kak nor letak 1/2 sk blueberry paste  dan skip pewarna purple (leia tak letak pun sebab takde stok)


Method:
  • Preheat oven 150C
  • Whisk egg yolks with sugar till pale in colour....add in yogurt and also oil....add in ur sifted flour, baking powder and also salt......lastly add in purple colour(rima used wilton gel) - set aside
  • In another bowl.....whisk egg white with cream of tartar till foamy....slowly add in sugar a little at a time and whisk till soft peak.
  • Scoop 1/3 egg white meringue and add to egg yolk mixture....fold in gently. Once combined....pour ur egg yolk mixture into meringue and continue to fold in gently and lightly.....once mixed pour half of ur mixture into 22cm tube pan....sprinkle half of ur oreo blueberry....pour the rest of ur mixture and lastly throw in the rest of ur oreo blueberry.
  • Bake it for 50 mins....once baked...turn ur chiffon pan and once its cool...take it out of ur pan..
